Forged parts refer to the processing method that causes the metal to be deformed by impact or pressure between the upper and lower anvils or forging dies

Manufacturers of mining equipment forgings: Forging parts refer to the processing methods that make the metal deform due to impact or pressure between the upper and lower anvils or forging dies. It can be divided into free forging and model forging. If the shape of the work piece is the only requirement, then forging is only one of the processing technologies. However, in many cases, forging is the only way to obtain the necessary mechanical properties. In order to obtain all the advantages of the forging process, the requirements for its performance must be indicated in the forging process specification. The process specification shall include the requirements for material standards and any additional requirements, as well as possible exceptions. In addition, the minimum tensile properties required and the maximum and minimum hardness at specific positions of the parts shall also be indicated. During free forging, the processed metal is deformed under pressure between the upper and lower anvils, and the metal can flow freely in all directions of the horizontal plane, so it is called free forging. The equipment and tools used for free forging are universal, and the quality of forged parts varies. However, the shape and size of the free forging press parts mainly depend on the operation technology of the forging workers, which requires high technical level of the forging workers, high labor intensity, low productivity, low precision of the forging, large machining allowance, and can not obtain more complex shapes. So it is mainly used for single piece, small batch production and repair work. For large forgings, free forging is the only production method.
